My Top Twenty Pieces of Music

 by Florence Yearsley

Attempting the impossible, I have chosen my top twenty compositions of all time. Music plays a massive part in my life, so limiting them to just that number has been almost impossible.

Choosing them brought back some lovely memories and recollections of times past.

We all have melodies that make us think of someone special, present or not, a particular place or time of our lives when we had been carefree. As Longfellow said: 'Music is the universal language of mankind.'

I hope you enjoy my twenty songs. I would love to hear your musical choices in the comments section below.

  1. Great selection, if you don't know them, try Dreams by Fleetwood Mac and She's always a Woman by Billy Joel. For something different, try Sing about me I'm dying of Thirst by Kendrick, it's one of if not the best storytelling song ever written
