Was It A Tie?

 by Nathaniel Gingell

In the spirit of PGS’s core values of curiosity, creativity, commitment, courage, compassion, collaboration, October 12th saw the dawning of the infamous House Tie Competition. Years 7 and 8 gathered together in the middle school common room, excited to see who would tie the fastest Windsor, and the best. While the competitors limbered up, the crowds cheered, and the judges (Mrs Seddon and Mrs Jackson) readied themselves for the upcoming fierce contest.

The fastest Windsor was tied by Eastwood, with the winner tying his tie so fast it nearly caught fire, and the winner of the best tied tie was from Hawkey who impressed the judges with her perfect knotting skills. Both were awarded a bar of Cadbury’s milk chocolate in recognition of their achievements.
