Poem: calling me?

 by Megan Ampim

haha,

you’re crazy.

please stop calling me

you’re killing me–

you don’t quite make sense, do you?

not neurotypical.

divergent, new yet

so so familiar.

we’ve been here before.

bubbles.

you burst mine. surely i can

do the same? no…

that’s wrong.

you can take the guilt and i

can’t. we differ and

i envy you.

hey, meet me where the

tide is broken.

i’m laughing now, so

hard. spiralling gently.

i’m not quite in my mind, above it.

i won’t stop calling you

talk to you later.

i’m killing you–
