On Monday the 11th of September, Year 9 got a full day getting to know new teachers and peers and making new friends. We had loads of fun doing many various activities, including a treasure hunt around Old Portsmouth which was very fun, an escape room which took us all around the school trying to find clues, and loads of inflatable entertainment at Governor’s Green.
There was an interactive zone, an amazing assault course, a football area, but everyone's favourite was clearly the inflatable body tug of war, with a special event of Mr Doidge vs. Mr Hipperson, which was absolutely hilarious! Mr Doidge pulled so hard that Mr Hipperson fell over.
The teachers did a great job of getting to know the students and the students getting to know one another, and it was a great opportunity for the new members of the PGS community to know what our school is all about: enjoying and being yourself and being part of the school community.
