Why 'Never Have I Ever' is One of the Best Things on Netflix

One of the best things currently on Netflix in our opinion is the television drama Never Have I Ever. It stars Maitreyi Ramakrishnan,as Devi Vishwakumar,a teenage Indian girl trying to grow up in Sherman Oaks,California.  Where she faces grief, love and most importantly anger.

The series starts after the sudden and untimely death of Devi’s father (Mohan), in which she has just rediscovered the use of her legs, after being paralyzed for three months. At the beginning all Devi wants is to be popular and have the best boyfriend.

But Why is it so good ?

Never Have I Ever is very good because it is more than a “coming of age” series because it is actually designed for teenagers. It covers serious issues in a funny way such as sexism, racism, homophobia and indian stereotyping. It also has a 95% rotten tomato score and IMDb of 7.8/10. One of the reasons the series are so popular and great is the fact you honestly see the characters grow and change emotionally.
