Poem: 'Reflect'

 by Poppy-Rose Banton

The once jagged rough pebble,

Now smoothed with tiny white fractures,

That tells its own unique tale,

Lies gracefully on the bed of colour,

The deep mahogany reds,

Soft brown hues fused with pure whites,

Each beautiful- yet different.

Look closer,

Listen to their songs of joy and woe,

Do you view them as less for their imperfections?

Now, look in the mirror.

What is your tale?
