Introversion

Nicola Morgan visited PGS on Friday at the Diversity and Inclusion meeting to talk about introversion: "Human beings all have individual personalities. We see the world and react to it in individual ways. One aspect of our personality is where we each are on the scale of "introvert" to "extrovert". It can be really empowering and interesting to notice your own introvert or extrovert feelings and behaviours and to understand that they are natural. Often introverts are criticised or undermined for seeming shy or "too quiet" and it can be stressful especially when school is so noisy and lively and busy. So, if feel you're more introvert than extrovert and you'd like to feel happier in your own skin and see the values or your personality, or if you're an extrovert who'd like to understand more about people who react differently to the world, I hope my talk will help you."
