England's 1st innings total was a masterclass showcasing some of the finest batting in Joe Root's career, with a fantastic 218, building England to obtain a 518 first innings score.
India then responded with 337 grand total on its own - but compared to 518 it was measly. The highest scorer was Rishabh Pant with 91.
England's second innings score was 178 which could have been our downfall if we hadn't been so lucky with our first innings score. This meant that India needed 420 to win.
However, India then went on to score 192, leaving England victorious.
