Waxy Wonders

We are in Year 7 and have started a business called Waxy Wonders! We started a business because obviously in lockdown we couldn’t really go out. As a result, just like you we were bored. So we wanted to do something productive instead of just looking at social media all day and night. 

"Why candles?" you may ask. 

Well, we wanted to do something hand-made which was good for the environment. Our candles are environmentally friendly, made with soy wax and everything (including packaging) is biodegradable or recyclable. 

We grew up around female business entrepreneurs and were inspired by them and what they have  accomplished. We have always wanted a business and we are so glad now that we have a successful one together. We are really proud of what we have achieved during this pandemic and were thrilled to be included on the front cover of the Daily News:
