Prologue:
Lily Majyk was just your average girl; 14 years old, brown hair, blue eyes, but there was one difference, she was a wizard. Now I know what you’re thinking, oh no she’s probably some childish wizard who will cast a spell over everyone. Well, you’re wrong, that doesn’t happen. Our story begins at her house in Watford where she lives with her mum Lola. Today something very strange happened, so, let’s hear the story.
Chapter 1: The Majyk household
Lily Majyk got about 2 feet away from her wardrobe when she remembered what today was; the 12th anniversary of when her grandparents went missing. Her wardrobe doors flung open with rage.            “UGH!!” she moaned. The wardrobe was taking even longer to pick an outfit for her today. If she were in a happy mood it would pick an outfit of many different colours but unfortunately, today was not one of those days. She was in a rather angry mood today so it picked out for her the most spectacular red items of clothing the poor wardrobe could find and clothe her fully in them. After she had got dressed she went over to her mirror.
“Minus 9%” Lily barked at the mirror; who was in a mood to please. At last, Lily had given the mirror an easy percentage to do, she usually gives it like 3.827% to take off of her body.                       “Minus 7.48%” Lily ordered who was obviously not satisfied with 9%. When she had stopped staring at herself, she went downstairs to have breakfast, which (like every morning) was a sausage, bacon and egg butty. Her mum; Lola, always did everything she could to help her darling daughter and spoiled her rotten. Since her parents went missing, she found no rest until she had Lily, who took her mind off of it all but today not even the happiest rainbow on earth could brighten her mood. Well, Lily got all of her traits from her mum so today they were just a bunch of moody wizards. “So,” said Lola trying to start a conversation.

“You do know that it's OK not to talk.” Stropped Lily “sorry, today always gets me cranky!” Lola raised an eyebrow as if to say ‘I know’. They then ate their breakfast. Then Lily broke the awkward silence by announcing  "I’m off to school, today we have a flight test.”                                                   “Good luck with that!” said her mum poisonously.
“I don’t need any” said a chuffed Lily “I studied all last night!”
“Oh,” said a shocked Lola and with that Lily slammed the door behind her.                                        “Jeez, kids these days!”
Chapter 2: Hardwicks school
Lily’s school was not like any other. It was a school for wannabe wizards. It took up 5 acres of forest and that was just the school building. The great majestic building stood at the top of a hill that to any ordinary person just looked like a normal school and no it didn’t have any magical invisible wall around it to protect it from the sight of any ordinary person like in fairy tales. No this could be seen from miles off and always with the sight of schoolkids hovering in on broomsticks. No ordinary people lived in the village, that’s why there were no enchantments protecting it. It looked as creepy as it sounds. Its gates creaked open every time you opened them and the big oak doors got smashed every now and then so they were always being replaced. The inside looked like it was owned by someone very rich and famous but it was a school instead. The floors were lined with red velvet carpet covering every inch. There were teachers scooting about on their brooms trying to stop the chaos that was the sight of 5445 children causing havoc in the grand entrance hall. All of the children were doing loop-de-loops and the poor teachers had the job of trying to stop them, it never worked, if anything it just provoked them more. When everyone had finally settled down, it was time to start the lessons. There were no wand lessons as the teachers thought that would get very out of hands. This is what Lily’s timetable looked like:

Chapter 3: The secret passage
Lily had Potions, then Enchantments then she met up with her friends at break, Laura and Jake. Jake was your average nerd except for the fact that he actually had friends. Laura was the leader of their ‘gang’. Laura and Jake were going out.                                                                                                    “So, are we still on for the sleepover tomorrow night?” asked Lily.
“Yep” chorused Laura and Jake whilst exploding into fits of laughter. All of a sudden, the schools bullies; Linda and Paul grabbed hold of all three of them and shoved them into the cleaner’s cupboard.
“What are you doing?” asked Lily nervously.
“We’re locking you up!” laughed Linda.
“Ew not in here! It will ruin my dress” Sobbed Laura.
“Enjoy” Mocked Paul. They ran off laughing.
“Great so now we’re stuck in here with no way out!” Cried Jake.
“That’s right, state the obvious. That’ll get us out!” Shouted Lily.
“Well, sorry miss grumpy” laughed Jake. They got into a big fight and Laura leaned back to watch when she fell straight through the wall.                                                                                                      "Where did Laura go?” Asked Jake.
“I think she went through the wall,” Lily said “Laura?”
“Guys, through the wall!” came a muffled reply. Lily ran at the wall. BANG! Jake doubled up with laughter.
“Whoops, wrong wall!” Winced Lily in pain. This time she managed to go through the right wall and Jake was right behind her.
Chapter 4: Through the wall
“Who knew the inside of a cleaner’s cupboard could be so beautiful,” asked Lily in awe. She was looking at the most magnificent sight in the world. Acres and acres of meadows and flowers. The big ball of fire in the sky blazed brightly down on them from above. There was not a single bad thing in sight unless you count Jake’s breath, that really stank today.
“Come on,” Cried Jake. Already running across the first field. “Let’s have some fun” Quickly the girls followed him.
Meanwhile, Lola was starting to worry about her daughter. The school day had ended and Lily was still behind the wall of the cleaner’s cupboard. She was beginning to focus her mind on where Lily was, she had some trouble at first but being a high expertise warlock (a very good wizard who knows everything there is to know about magic) she managed to figure it out. Lola knew exactly where her mother and father were, they were in the exact place where Lily and her friends where.                         “Oh no!” Cried Lola as she gathered her things together and ran out the front door.
Chapter 5: The secret forest
Crunch! Crunch! Went the sound of Lola’s feet on the fresh leaves of the secret forest. She was getting closer to the kids now.
“What was that?” Quietly asked Laura.
“Dunno,” said Jake “sounded like someone’s coming to me” Lola turned a corner and there the kids were, stuffed under a bush all huddling closely together.                                                                           “Mum?” asked a profound Lily
“Yes, what are you doing here? It’s dangerous.” She replied
“Some bullies locked us in a cleaner’s cupboard with no way out so then Lily and Jake started having a big fight so then I leant against a wall (because my back hurt) which I fell through and then Lily ran at the wrong wall” she started laughing “And then you used your warlock skills to track us down and then now here we are.” Everyone looked at Laura in disbelief.
“Anyway, why are you here mum?”
“School ended, remember?”  Said Jake. He was right everyone had gone home and it was just those 3 left.
“What will your parents say?” Asked Lola worried.
“We were coming to yours to the sleepover, remember” Said Jake. Lola breathed a sigh of relief.          “OK, you guys are gonna find this out soon anyway but I have a lot of secrets to tell” Sighed Lola. Everyone got comfortable.
“So, I lied about not knowing where my parents are.” Sulked Lola.
“What?!?!?” shouted a shocked Lily.
“Shh! Let me finish. Anyway, as I was saying they are actually right here in this forest. I was just trying to hide them and things got carried away when they got captured.”                                                “You knew about this the whole time and you didn’t tell me?” Said Lily finally managing to speak.     “Well I was gonna but I was worried you’d react like this!” Shouted Lola. “And also, Aunt Gemma is not a gremlin she’s a troll.”
“Ha!” Laughed Lily but then soon realizing her mum had only said that to make her happy she quickly returned back into a grudge.
Chapter 6: The hunt begins
“Ok, I think it’s better if we all stay together and as me and Lily know my parents the best we’ll lead.” bossed Lola.
“Why do you get to be in charge?” asked Jake nervously.
“Was that a serious question?” Lola coldly replied. Jake shrugged.
“Wait, guys, were did Laura go?” asked Lily.
“I just thought she was being quiet,” said Jake.
“Hey guys, I think I found them” shouted Laura from the distance, and sure enough, there at the bottom of the high hill, was a small cottage and on the porch were two people who were knitting.        “Grannie, Grandad!” shouted Lily and waved. The people waved back. The whole gang ran down the hill and bounded across the meadow to the small cottage surrounded by wildlife.                            “My baby” croaked Janna (Lily’s grandmother’s name). Lily ran up to her but when she tried to hug her she found that she couldn’t.
“Grannie why can’t I hug you?” She asked nervously.
“It’s an enchantment, you can’t touch me” So she tried to hug Jim (Lily’s granddad’s name) but couldn’t.
“Or me” laughed Jim.
“Lily, my dear” Cried Jim “Please don’t be upset” but the only the thing Lily couldn’t work out is that why were her grandparents here? Her mum was too busy chatting to her parents to answer any questions now, well she’d just have to wait until later. She would just have to enjoy every second she had with her grandparents but little did she know that wouldn’t be very long…..
Chapter 7: The explanation
“So, Grannie, Grandad, why are you here?” asked Lily nervously dreading to hear the answer, “And why?”
“Well, he was gonna come back anyway this year” started Grandma Janna, Lola was in shock.             “Who?” said Lily butting in.
“The man that captured me and your grandma” said Grandad Jim, finally getting a word in edgeways.
“What!” shouted Lily.
“Yes, your grandma and grandad were captured, but when the capturer isn’t here we can visit at any time we like” started Lola.
“But if he comes back, we’re literally dead” croaked Grandma Janna.                                                     “I’m gonna go and look for some fire-wood to see if we can get a fire going” said Lola “Are you two sure you can look after the kids?” she said gesturing at Jim and Janna.                                                   “Yes, we’ll be fine” Cried Jim. “But why do we need a fire?” he said “It’s getting dark” Lola cried pointing at the sky. Everyone else agreed. So, Lola went off to get the fire-wood and the rest of them had a lot of fun together.
Chapter 8: George comes back
George stood on top of a hill and looked down onto the people he had once captured, their granddaughter and her friends. The kidnapper had finally returned and he was not happy.                      “Why are there other people here? How are there other people here? Is Lola with them?” asked George to himself and set off down the hill. Jenna and Jim spotted George and quickly rushed  everyone inside the house. Lola wasn’t too far off when she heard her parents,                                      “Please don’t take the kids away” begged Jenna
“Take us instead” pleaded Jim
“No!” refused George “I will do what I want, when I want and that’s that. Now, if either of you don’t tell me where Lola is I will have to take you away to my secret location”                                               “We told you we don’t know where Lola is, she went out to get fire-wood and should be back any minute but please don’t take… ” Jim started                                                                                            “Secret location it is then!!” boomed George. Lola saw George take her kid, her friends and her parents into a jeep and drive off into the distance.                                                                                   “Mess with me; fine. Mess with my family; not fine” Lola said seriously and grabbed a car and followed the jeep.
Chapter 9: The chase is on
“Well, I think we found Lola,” said George smugly, who saw her rearing the jeep. Everyone in the back seat was calling for help       “You know she can’t hear you, right?” smirked George “This baby is soundproof”
“Well did you forget that she won the last 5 years on the mock F1 race they hold every year?” smugly asked Laura.
“Oh no” sighed George as Lola blocked the path with her car. George was just about to accept his fate when Lola motioned to wind down his window, so he did.                                                                       “How about a bet” said Lola, “If I win, I get the kids and my mum and dad back but if you win” she laughed “You get to do whatever you want with me. Deal?”                                                                   “Deal” said George and went to shake hands but Lola was already speeding off                                    “Hey wait!” screamed George.
“Relax,” shouted Lola “I’m just making a starting line. So, we race from here around that pole and back. First one back’s the winner. Got it?”                                                                                                “Got it!” said George.
“On your marks…get steady…go!” yelled Lola as she sped past George, but he had another idea. He was actually going to his secret underground bunker.                                                                            “Where are we going?” asked Jenna nervously.
“Por favor, Deus, não me deixe morrer, tenho tanto para viver.” Cried Jack.                                          “Say what now?” said Laura, shocked.
“Sorry I speak Portuguese when I’m nervous” said Jack “É apenas um hábito. Oh no, I did it again!”   "That’s fine, but all I want to know is where this crazy man is takin us!” shouted Lily.                         “Oh me?” questioned George “To my underground bunker. Duh. ¡Oh no! no debí decirles eso and I speak spanish when I panic.” George laughed smugly to himself and drove off.                                 Meanwhile Lola was looking through every mirror that she could find and was trying to find George but of course had no luck as he went in the opposite direction and took her family with him.                 “I should have known; he’s always been a sly one” moaned Lola and hurried after him following the distinct car tracks.
Chapter 10: The underground bunker
The bunker looked like one of those waterproof shelters from the outside (or at least what you could see of it). It was covered in grass and moss and other plants and stuff. It was so that people thought it blended in with its surroundings and so that people couldn’t see it from the sky. It was also surrounded by a huge green fence with mossy curly barbed wire all around the top. But from the inside it was packed to the brim with survival kits and food but other than that it looked exactly like a normal house or even better! It was more like a ‘home sweet home’ than a place to store 5 people! But what they didn’t know is that round the back was a secret room which was every kidnapper’s paradise! With no hesitation George whisked them away to the secret room. Now this is what you call spy central except with no-one there, smaller room space and less techno gadgets. There was one big wall with straps on so I guess that was where they were going.                                                       “I will just leave you here until I decide to let you go. Which will be never!” He said cackling.                  “Not so fast!” said Lola.
“Mum!” screamed Lily “I knew you’d make it.”
“¡Mi plan era excelente hasta que apareciste en tu gran spoiler! Por cierto, no sabes lo que digo, pero voy a pelear contigo ahora.” shouted George.                                                                                       “No, no lo estás.” Said Lola.
"¿Hablas español?" asked George
“Soy medio español, ¿recuerdas?” replied Lola.
"Ok, does anyone have any idea what they're saying?" shouted Jack.                                                     “Sorry!” said Lola and George. Then there was a fight, and boy was it a fight! But I mean I can’t show you so you will just have to imagine it ok? Ready? Ok now shut your eyes. Are they shut? Now imagine this, Lola comes into a place where her family and friends are being held up to the wall, then she and George fought for a long time, just imagine those stunts that Lola pulled off, but no guns were fired. It was just Lola flying everywhere and George doing the best he could to protect himself and not doing a very good job. Ok now that the fight is over you can open your eyes. So, it is obvious that George is now the one tied up against the wall and everyone else is free to go.                                "Usted no ha oído lo último de mí!"shouted George.
"Sí, tenemos."Said Lola. And that was the last anyone heard of George (with no surname).
Chapter 11: The last chapter
“Is everyone alright?” asked Lola speeding towards her parents’ house in the Jeep                                 “No!” said a shocked Laura. As if Lola had just asked if she was alright, with dying! “My favourite dress is torn, my heel is broken and my phone is DEAD!!!”                                                                    “So, you’re alright then?” Joked Lily “I’m good, mum. Thanks. ”                                                          “WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!” Shouted Jim and Janna
“No we’re not” calmly said Lola
“Mas esse é o problema. Todos nós eventualmente, quero dizer, talvez vocês mais cedo desculpe, mas todos nós vamos em algum momento, mas definitivamente não hoje! Por que estou falando sozinho? Porque? Por quê?” Jake was talking to himself.
“Ok um anyone know what little miss chatterbox is rambling on about?” joked Lola.
“No clue” cried Laura. So the gang then chatted for what seemed like forever but then when they arrived back at Jim and Janna’s house there was an awkward silence so Laura and Jake decided to wait in the car.
“You guys coming?” asked Lola probably already knowing the answer.
“I think we’re gonna stay here kiddo” said Jim
“I mean no harm right? And it’ll cost us nothing for our retirement plan anyway!” joked Janna.
"I thought so. But it’s OK. I mean can I, sorry, we visit you anytime?”
“Of course!” Then it was settled then, Jim and Janna would stay in the house with all the gorgeous fields surrounding them and Laura, Jake and Lily would go back to magic school and get bullied a lot! As for Lola, well if she wasn’t saving Lily she would probably be saving the world. But maybe one day she will we’ll never know...
The End.
