The Tortoise and the Hare Part 2

This is my picture of the tortoise. At the start of lockdown I did a Hare. I was inspired by the story of the hare and the tortoise because I always find myself rushing through life. I have been trying to slow down but it’s an ongoing struggle. 

For this drawing I used pencil because the tortoise is a bit more of a bland and slow creature whereas the hare is in bright and fun colours. I did the hare last time to remind myself not to rush but I think it’s best to be a bit of both. I can be quick and have fun but while focusing on my task.
