Internet safety tips:

-Never give out your real name
-Never tell anyone where you go to school
-Never give out your address or telephone number
-Never agree to meet anyone from a chatroom.
-Tell an adult if someone makes inappropriate suggestions to you or makes you feel uncomfortable online.
-Never tell anyone online your family's names or addresses.
-If something scares you, tell a trusted adult or friend.
- Never trust who people say they are because that is what happened to many people, including Amanda Todd.

TIPS
Always tell trusted people if something is concerning you. Always have a private account and you should not include your name or picture in your profile. If someone contacts you and asks for your personal details, don’t reply and block them. If you witness cyber-bullying always tell an adult, if even a video scares you it is better to report it and tell someone. If you feel like you can not tell anyone you know, contact Childline . It is best if you don’t join chat rooms because everyone is a stranger (hypothetically) and that is were cyber-bullying happens in most famous stories.
