These are just a few of our favourite
books!
There
were over 1500 nominations made by pupils in Years 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, parents and
staff. Listed here, in no particular
order, are the 100 titles which received the most votes. As the eye travels down the list, imagination
begins to roam through time and place, meeting characters once known. Why not take a look and see how many you have
read?
Discussions
have shown that ‘favourite’ can be interpreted in so many different ways. 12.5% of our senior school community took
part and over half of these were in Year 7 and 8. We would like thank everyone who found time
to respond to our survey. It has created
an interesting snapshot in time and one that we would love to repeat in
2021. The imagination is a hungry
creature and we must feed it to grow knowledge and understanding, so keep
reading!
