Lots of the things entering our oceans are bad for the
environment, the most common one being plastic. Yes, plastic is cheap and easy
to get hold of, but it isn’t so good for animals and nature. Lots of people are
either not aware of the situation or are, but aren’t interested in doing
anything about it.
There are lots of things you can do to help such as:
· * attend
your local beach clean
· * make
sure you don’t buy too much plastic, (this doesn’t mean don’t buy any plastic, though)
· * buy
recyclable products as much as you can
· * recycle
or ‘upcycle’ everyday things
· * make
sure you put plastic in bins
Another way to get rid of plastic without it going to
land-fill is an ecobrick. This is a plastic bottle packed with plastic to
create reusable bricks. Eco bricks can be used to make furniture, garden spaces
and even whole buildings such as houses and schools!
A word you may notice in the title is ‘pollution.’ This is
an introduction to the natural environment that causes problematic change.
Pollution can take the form of chemical substances or energy such as noise, heat
or light. Cars, planes and loads of other modes of transport create air pollution
and this is just one of the many reasons that we should cycle and walk more.

This is a very serious
matter and I hope everyone does their bit to fix it.

If you feel this is is a serious matter you should change it not wait for somebody elese to do it. Change depends on the world andin turn the world depends on the contins then the countries and cities/villages then the people in them and team can't be spelled without me but me is is inneffective without the t and a.
ReplyDeleteSo true. It is devastating that we unconsciously let our plastic into the air and the sea, even our food now. If we don't do something soon, then we will regret it for the rest of our life.

ReplyDeleteMy friend buys a plastic bottle from the lunch hall everyday instead of going to the water fountains. sometimes, she has a bottle but buys one from the lunch hall and pours it into her bottle! Hopefully the lunch hall will stop selling plastic bottles and let people use the biodegradable cups or bottles.
ReplyDeleteWow I am going to try this; I found out that roughly 100,000 marine creatures die a year because of plastic! We need to fix pollution!

ReplyDeleteWe all need to help our planet before we destroy it, eco bricks are so smart because they will help others as well as keeping marine life safe. eco bricks dont waste plastic either it uses it for a good cause. this article was very helpful and makes people understand the damage we are causing and how to fix it. we must change now!
