After
the Christmas hype we can all feel a bit down and deflated, so here are a few ways
to improve your January blues.
1.
January
sales.
There
are always good sales on in the shops and on line.
2.
Baking
New
year is a good way to improve on your skills or start something new, here is an
easy sponge recipe to get you started:
4oz
butter
4oz
flour
4oz
caster sugar
2
eggs
(add
1 tbsp cocoa powder to make it Chocolate)
Mix
all the ingredients and cook in an oven heated at 180 for 35mins
3.
New Year New Start
Use
the new year to take up new activities and hone in on new skills. Starts
something you’ve never tried before.
4.
Look
forward to the prospect of snow
5.
The
shortest school term
There
are only four full weeks of the first half of the Lent term- enjoy!
