9 images of the first day of commemoration of D Day here in Portsmouth. Tomorrow (June 6th) marks seventy years since D Day took place, initiating the liberation of Europe from Nazi occupation. Britain's armed forces (and PGS' CCF cadets) yesterday paid tribute on land and at sea.
