Sospan Dau dredging vessel returned with another spectacular display of ‘rainbowing’ shingle onto the beach, replenishing the beach .

In a lot of Southsea, the beach is the first line of sea defence, so it is important to make sure the beach is topped up and big enough to add protection. The beach near the Rowing club has been badly washed away in recent storms.

I have added a few photos I took last week of recently uncovered walls from buildings dating back to  the 1900s we're buildings and bathing huts would have been.
