On Friday, 17th March, Sita Brahmachari came to PGS as part of a city-wide initiative to inspire young poets.
Children came from several schools across Portsmouth, as well as PGS, and were given the opportunity to write their own poems with the help of a published author.
She was able to give us valuable tips on how to write a poem, resulting in a brilliant selection that she will use at her exhibition for her Carnegie shortlist nomination day.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed and would very much like to do it all again.
