Summer: A Fresh Perspective

 by James Burkinshaw

Today, we release the latest edition of Portsmouth Point magazine, focused on the theme of ‘Perspective’.

The issue features 30 scholarly articles by PGS pupils on subjects ranging from the role of perspective in post-modernist literature to an explanation of the way the brain works during decision-making, an investigation of Dark Matter, an assessment of the impact of commercial fishing on our environment and a study of African-American experiences within the music industry.

As always, PGS pupils continue to impress us with their intellectual independence, creativity, cultural curiosity and socio-political awareness, as they engage with the world beyond the Arch.

We hope that, over the summer holiday, this edition of Portsmouth Point opens our readers’ eyes to a range of viewpoints and perspectives. Happy reading!
