What Is It ?
International Women’s Day is a day of the year dedicated to bring awareness to the differences women have made in politics, culture and lots of other amazing things.
When Is It ?
International Women's day is celebrated on 8th of March because a protest was held in New York demanding women's rights on the 8th March 1909, which then spread to Russia and became a national holiday in 1913.
What Is This Year’s Theme?
This year’s theme is Break the Bias, it is focusing on a world that is free of Bias, Stereotypes and Discrimination. It wants to put a focus on equal pay and workplace equality.
