Poem: Dreamland

by Honor Davis

Take me to my dreamland
Throw away the key
Call me by another name
Where I don't have to be me

Bury their words in pixie dust
Wish away the memories
on falling stars on the darkest night
Everything's as it seems

For in this land there is no fear
No scarring words
No burning tears
No reason to hide with a vacant smile
Or on the creaking kitchen roof
In the this world anyone can feel
Completely and utterly bulletproof.
